super cars collecting dust: in the most unlikley of places

the ex shah of iran had a knack for exclusive sports cars (as one can imagine) and had a collection of rarities that were left behind when he fled the revolution. finally someone has managed to photograph the stable of cars collecting dust under the islamic republic. surely one day they will be only specimens with such limited miles on the odometers. above are a few pictures from the spanish mag that managed to capture it all. by xy

windsor manners: the duke and his rolls royce

our very own mr. duke schricker and his new wheels. ok the rolls is a bit of a 80’s mold and not quite the right choice and model but hell, there’s nothing cooler than a young chap cruising in a rolls… it’s just not the same when you hit 50. by dd

MERCEDES BENZ 600 Pullman Laundalet

the rear interior with a single seat and a pair of arm rests

the ultimate limo is the pullman 600. been always a fan for this first and last ever graceful limo. funny enough some of the most famous owners of the 600 include elizabeth taylor, john lennon, jason kay, aristotle onassis, nicolae ceauşescu, josip broz-tito, chairman mao tse-tung and both kings… of iran and of rock and roll, elvis presley! by dd

john lennon: the glitch in imagine

was listening to lennon’s imagine and got to the bit about : “imagine no possessions, i wonder if you can…” and was picturing the footage of lennon and yoko in the back of their white rolls royce and thought… i wonder if you can, john? I suppose not. any how the man was amazing and the world is less great without him but this no-possession business just doesn’t work so well. the rest i can deal with and agree but I need a few of ma’ things around. by dd
