kate moss: by lucian freud

another by lucian freud. funny quote from the london telegraph regarding the exhibit with this painting “all summer, crowds of visitors have poured into the great lucian freud retrospective at the tate britain. one person who has been too busy to pop in, however, has been the artist (though he jokingly says he would like to go, if nothing, to see if all the things he has read about his work are actually true)”. by dd

ethel granger

ethel granger was the woman with the smallest waist size in history…13 inches diameter… she was only taking her corsets off for shower, and was wearing her necklace as belt. weird. by pp.

Chloë Sevigny

this is probably one of my favorite pictures of chloe. she looks amazing and graceful which is not always the case with her. that said shes a very cool girl, or at least she was when i met her on a shoot and she was so low key and down to earth. all that coudl have changed by now of course. by dd

built ford tough

dear tom ford: i get it, you’re launching cosmetics, so it’s all of a sudden all about color. but i can’t help but miss the contrast of the more modern stern seductress. i wanted to be that woman, i don’t think i want to be this one. also, even though she’s tougher, this campaign features almost the exact coloring as your old baby gucci‘s f/w campaign, but that’s probably just an unfortunate accident… or did mert and marcus get their briefs confused? you’re beyond the trend forecasting manuals, i have faith.  by kl
