i went to purchase a few songs on itunes and i got this? so much for all the praise for apple. can some one please explain what the hell does this sentence mean? if you had written this in 8th grade you would have failed your paper. its not even a sentence.

i quote: “notification of an additional type of previously-purchased content may be subsequently downloaded to certain computers and devices as an accommodation to you. subject to existing association rules; and that content may be played back on certain devices that are not subject to existing association rules, with limitations.”

it is clearly written in a way to confuse the hell out of the user. its absolute nonsense. are they changing the rules so “your previous purchases can no longer be played on multiple devices?” i cant make sense of it! i cancelled my planned purchase of the songs till further notice, and i’m a little pissed. and i’m not alone… here is another user and his question on apple support: “The new terms and conditions for the iTunes Store say that each device can only be associated with a single account, and you can only switch them once every 90 days. I have accounts in different countries because I’ve lived in different places. How is this going to affect me? Am I going to lose access to half of my apps?” by dd

syd barrett remembered: i will if you will

“born in england as, roger keith barrett , syd was singer songwriter guitarist and painter, best remembered as a founding member of pink floyd. he was the lead vocalist, guitarist and primary songwriter during the band’s psychedelic years, providing major musical and stylistic direction in their best work, including their name, although he was left out of the group in 1968 amidst speculations of mental illness exacerbated by heavy drug use he is the one name best remembers of the work that included ‘the piper at the gates of dawn’ album.” by dd

Spank Rock: Energy live at the paris social club

the drum beat on this track is awesome. i have it in one of my mixes and i cant seem to find it now but i could swear it was without vocals or at least quite different. so i don’t know if hes sampling this or if this is from scratch. if you know let me know. i don’t know whats up with the heads and tails of the clip here, could have done without it, but skip that to the interior of the club and the music. quite red hot, paris social club. video by bryce ward.

I’m back… couldn’t let is go… just checked…. no wonder this is the base track from the can’s vitamin c. now, how does this guy even know who the can is? the dj must be german, if not its all nicholas jaars fault for pulling this stuff out again for the public. fuckin brilliant. I knew that track couldn’t be from this lame era we live in. regurgitation pays off it sounds great regardless.

TS… Meet ST

do you have bands or acts that you have said to yourself you need to see before you die? well i have plenty, and this weekend i was fortunate enough to scratch one of these bands off my list: suicidal tendencies. fronted by mike muir, younger brother of jim muir one of the original z-boys from venice beach skate days, suicidal combines many genres from punk/surf/thrash to metal and funk with a cali vato loco vibe. the energy was amazing, the sound was perfect and the band was tight, being that they are all serious professional musicians. a while back, suicidal collaborated with vans to release a suicidal X vans shoe as an ode to the original vans style of pool skating.  by jr
